Now that I've had many, many hours of sleep, I'm feeling a little better. Since I've been solitary for the past seven days, I'm up for some socializing, but I don't know of anything that's going on. I'm not quite up for flashing lights and loud music; a few people and a few movies would be peachy.
In case anyone's wondering what I've been up to lately:
I'm trying to get my career back. I've put a call to "Women in Transition" at St. Louis park. I've also been reaching out to the few lawyers I know. I'm trying to arrange meetings with a couple of them, mostly just to talk shop and hear war stories. I'm lacking in both resources and confidence and I'm hoping to turn that around.
I'm really, really sorry about what happened to "Operation Frostbite." I might have put in an appearance for an hour or so before having to go back to bed (I wouldn't have gotten there until midnight, though, and I wasn't sure if the backup party would go that late.) So what's going to happen to the stuff I donated? Will there be an auction anyway, or do I have to take the stuff back?
If there is to be an auction, the stuff I made is pretty neat. Y'all should bid on it. :)
[EDIT: I have since learned that there is to be an online auction. So, yeah...see above.]
